I have recently become obsessed with a show called Star vs the Forces of Evil and so I have to get all my fangirl-ness out right now because JOY WON'T WATCH IT WITH ME :iconcannotevenplz:

I should start by saying that I feel like the majority of my friends on her would adore this show and it's humor (particularly Whimsical-Wings I feel like it's sorta your style)

BUT on to the show itself.
-I love the animation and art style, everything is so expressive, and the voice actors ALL nailed their roles. From a technical standpoint, the animation and voice acting work in perfect harmony.
-This show does slapstick comedy SO WELL. And I don't usually like slapstick. Also, whenever I think a plot is going a more cliched route, they always surprise me.
-I freakin' love Star and Marco's dynamic. I also love that they're a male and female pair of protagonists that function well as best friends instead of a romantic pair. Althooouughh, There are a few moments in the show that make me wonder if they won't eventually move it that direction (I mean, the moon in-universe ships them. It's canon. Actually.).
Those same moments make it reeeaaaalllyy hard for me to NOT ship them...
-Is Ludo a child? I think Ludo's a child. There are a few subtle references here and there, and it would certainly explain his behavior. If that's the case, he suddenly turns from a reprehensibly immature and foolish adult into a rather bright young monster.

And finally, I want to talk about Toffee. Toffee is scary (and I now wonder if the writers didn't name him that so that someone, somewhere would end up writing that sentence). But more importantly, Toffee is super interesting. I've rewatched the episodes he appears in several times trying to figure out his motive, hints to his past, what he was possibly hoping to accomplish in episode 13, and if he's coming back. We know:
-He feels he's been wronged by the Mewnians somehow, though it may not be personal, just a vendetta the monsters have against the Mewnians who may or may not have done terrible things to them in the past through to the future.
-He can regenerate body parts, but for some reason one of his fingers seems to be permanently gone.
-He seemed very interested in the power of Star's wand, but if he meant to get it for himself I can't figure how his actions in the last episode would help attain that.
-He was hanging up his coat and tie, as if he'd be back for them...
-How did he know about the whispering spell, much less where Star learned it? What is his relation to the Mewny royal family? Was he always a monster (physically, although I suppose the question could apply morally, as well)?

Welp, that's that, for now. I'm gonna doodle Toffee because he's awesome. And then maybe Star 'n' Marco, my friend-ship.
And GO WATCH THA SHOW

Pancakes?
Seriously??

I just watched the entirety of Steven Universe.
It's alright, but I SERIOUSLY cannot see why people love it so much.
I mean, fusion is NOT a new concept. o_0
DBZ anyone??
